KQED Celebrates Latino Heritage Month 2011

Aroma Buena Catering is proud to be chosen again as caterer of the KQED Celebrates Latino Heritage Month event honoring Latino Heritage Outstanding Leaders, at the KQED studios on September 14, 2011.
This is the third consecutive year that Aroma Buena Catering has catered the Latino Heritage Month Outstanding Leaders event for KQED. We have served a KQED Latino Heritage Month event for five out of the last six years.
For 2011, awards will be presented to four outstanding LOCAL HEROES. The 2011 Local Heroes are:

Aroma Buena Catering is proud to have been selected by the SF Small Business Commission as the caterer of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors Small Business Award Ceremony, for the second consecutive year.
The event will be held on May 17, 2011, at San Francisco City Hall.
In the award ceremony, the Small Business Commission will team up with Mayor Ed Lee and the Board of Supervisors to honor and recognize an exceptional small business from each of San Francisco's 11 districts and citywide.
The honorees for 2011 are Cinderella Bakery, Patxi’s Pizza, Liguria Bakery, Ocean Park Motel, Café Hana, Passion Café, Zanze’s Cheesecake, Orphan Andy’s, El Rio, Everest, Caffe D’Melanio, and La Gallinita.
The San Francisco Board of Supervisors Small Business Award Ceremony is reserved for invited guests; however, many of the SF Small Business Week events are open to the public.
"Flavors of San Francisco", on May 16, is one event of Small Business Week that is open to the public.

Aroma Buena Catering is a featured caterer in this year's "Flavors of San Francisco", San Francisco Small Business Week’s gala kick-off event.
The event will be held on May 16, 2011, at the Metreon in Yerba Buena Center.
In this event, attendees have the opportunity to meet and mingle with more than 1,000 small business owners and community leaders, as well as connect with dozens of business resources.
In addition, attendees can sample food and drink from more than 20 restaurants, catering companies, and wine bars.
Flavors of San Francisco is free and open to the public; however, advance registration for this event sold out quickly this year.

"A gala gourmet event in celebration of the Mexican Bicentennial and Centennial. Showcasing some of the best culinary talent in San Francisco, the Bay Area, and Mexico".
Nineteen restaurants are being showcased. Aroma Buena Catering is the only catering company that was invited to participate in the showcase of nineteen restaurants.
The restaurants in the showcase will present samples of quality authentic dishes from diverse regions of Mexico, and/or original recipes crafted especially for this event.
Aroma Buena will present specialties from Guanajuato, Veracruz, and Yucatan.
